High FSB speeds mean a hot motherboard north bridge chip. Whether they can do this depends partly on the adjustment options provided, and ko266plus on the kk266plux design of the board – running at higher-than-specified speeds requires better-than-standard motherboard design.
Oddly, though, DDR generally delivers a pretty underwhelming speed improvement for desktop computer tasks. But the KK could be a bit friendlier in this department. The SuperAudio add-on’s not terribly expensive, and it gives you a full set of digital ins and outs more cheaply than you could get them from any stand-alone sound card.
